Dr. Mariah Post earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Brazil and is currently a Research Assistant at Iowa State University and a member of the Field Epidemiology (FieldEpi) team. She is pursuing an M.S. focused on Salmonella detection using oral fluid samples and a Ph.D. investigating biosecurity practices and their association with PRRSV outbreaks. Her research integrates diagnostic data with applied biosecurity to advance swine health surveillance and disease prevention.
