📊 Feeder cattle futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) firmed last Friday, supported by lower feed grain costs and resilient live cattle futures.

     •  There’s room for optimism: the market has held together well, especially considering that cash prices have been pretty resilient when they usually start to slip a little bit this time of the year.

🐷 As for the cash hog market, it’s been fairly resilient. Hog weights have been light – the pork producer is very current, and the ham market hasn't fallen out of bed yet.
