Sluggish obstacles and economy 🐌

The US Meat Export Federation Strategic Planning Conference took place this week and was attended by farmers, ranchers, processors, and exporters from across the nation. 

👀 Cool, right? But what’s truly important is that information discussed at the event… 

While US red meat exports will likely set a value record this year, the industry faces a lot of obstacles related to the sluggish global economy, weakening currencies of key trading partners, and lingering effects of the COVID pandemic. 

     • Things aren’t looking good either on the production side, especially for the livestock producers impacted by droughts.
