🔬🦠 When the Japanese Encephalitis virus (JEV) was introduced in Australia, it was a different experience from Japan – it spread quickly and caused different clinical outcomes on various farms. That's why the Executive Director of the Swine Health Information Center (SHIC) suggests a better understanding of the epidemiology of the disease is paramount to halt its dissemination and minimize its impact.
