A surprise is born (or 41 of them) 🤯🐷

🇧🇷 Ever heard the saying "two birds with one stone"? What about "41 piglets in a single litter"? A sow in Santa Catarina, Brazil, gave birth to the record litter in a procedure that lasted for five hours! 

• Such a rare phenomenon can only be explained by a mix of hyperovulation and high-quality semen, along with good environmental conditions and nutrition.
• Some problems were born as well… A normal sow usually has 14 or 16 teats – far too few to feed all 41 piglets. So it's recommended to alternate feeding shifts between the piglets.
