Dr. Andreia Arruda earned her DVM from São Paulo State University in Brazil, her MS from the University of Minnesota, and her PhD in Veterinary Preventive Medicine from the University of Guelph. She is an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, focusing on epidemiology, biosecurity, and foreign animal disease preparedness in swine systems.
