Dr. Thomas Isakeit is a Professor and Extension Plant Pathologist at Texas A&M University with over 30 years of experience in managing aflatoxin and fumonisin contamination in crops. His research has identified new plant diseases across the U.S. and effective fungicide treatments with multi-million-dollar agricultural impact. Dr. Isakeit focuses on disease management for field crops and vegetables, especially corn, cotton, sorghum, and watermelon.
